Before I had my babies, I expected sleepless nights. I expected to be spat up on. I expected my day to look very different. I didn’t expect to wake up one day and not recognise myself. To not feel at home in my body. To feel a complete loss of freedom. I missed the version of […]

The standard questions to ask on a preschool tour When we started looking for a preschool (or nursery or daycare or whatever you call it), we were lucky enough to know someone who worked in early childhood education. She sent me a big list of questions to ask on our visits. It covered things like: […]

My twins starting preschool (and me going back to work) is the biggest shift I’ve experienced since becoming a Mum. I’ve gone from being constantly on alert to my girls to having three days a week where my nervous system can shift down a few gears. I’m no longer parenting 24/7. It’s been a relief. […]

When my fiancé and I first found out we were having twins, my first thought was that I’m never sleeping again. Now they’re over a year old, I can confirm I have, in fact, slept again. And now sleeping through the night (bliss!). Even though my fear of a baby always being awake didn’t quite […]

The last year as a first time mum to twins has been challenging, miraculous and truly life changing. Naturally as my girls turned one, I’ve been thinking about the last year and everything I’ve gone through. What have I learnt? What did I wish I’d known a year ago? What am I glad I didn’t […]

Which one of these tips do you want to see more of Which one of these tips do you want to see more of?!
Honestly, starting preschool has made me a better Honestly, starting preschool has made me a better Mum. I’m so excited to spend time with my girls when they get home at the end of the day.

And as a Mum that valued being present with my twins, this is everything to me.
This is all I need to know now to feel like I’m do This is all I need to know now to feel like I’m doing a good job as a Mum.

I have conversations like this all the time with my clients. Message me to become one of them!
I help Mums of Multiples drop the information over I help Mums of Multiples drop the information overload looking for the ‘right’ answer on what to do with their babies without feeling like flying completely blind on what to do and I want to tell you how we’re able to do this as a life coach of over four years (and a twin Mum!).

As an example, let’s talk about starting solids. Purees, baby led weaning, 100 before 1, prioritising iron, worrying about choking, allergens…so many different approaches and considerations. And as Mum’s we want to do what’s best for our babies.

That desire to do what’s best is where the pressure sneaks in. Endless research is how we try to solve the problem.

Instead what I get my clients to do is focus on just enough information.

Learn enough to get started.

When my twins started solids, I learnt about introducing allergens (just enough to know how to do it safely), baby led weaning (basically that it existed and how to prep food to be safe to give babies) and to prioritise animal products for the iron content. That’s it.

Started with puree. Introduced steak to chew on. Realised that baby led weaning was far easier when feeding two babies and eventually pivoted away from puree.

I learnt more from introducing solids to my babies that research would ever teach me.

Learn just enough to get started. Then the real learning begins.
